All sales are final.
splitt does not offer refunds on any paid product or subscription purchased directly from us. This includes Splitt Pro monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans, as well as any add-on or one-time purchase.
Before you pay: the free plan covers every core feature — unlimited groups, members, splits, and settlements. Use it for as long as you like, then upgrade only when you're sure Pro fits your workflow. Once paid, the amount is non-refundable.
By purchasing Splitt Pro, you confirm that you have used the free plan, understand what Pro adds, and accept that the charge is final.
Try before you buy.
splitt is free to use forever — unlimited groups, unlimited members, unlimited splits and settlements. Every core feature is on the free plan with no time limit and no hidden cap.
Splitt Pro adds receipt OCR, recurring splits, smart-settle simplification, trip mode, advanced insights, and priority support. We don't offer a separate free trial of Pro because the free plan already gives you enough time to decide whether you need the extras.
You can cancel — but you won't be refunded.
You can cancel your Splitt Pro subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel. After cancellation:
- Pro features remain active for the rest of the period you've already paid for. If you cancel a yearly plan three months in, you keep Pro for the remaining nine months.
- Auto-renewal stops. You will not be charged again at the end of the current period.
- No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current period.
- The Lifetime plan, by its nature, has nothing to cancel.
If you paid through Apple or Google.
If you bought Splitt Pro through Apple's App Store or Google Play, those purchases are handled by Apple or Google — not by splitt — and their own refund policies apply. We can't initiate or block a refund decision made by the store.
- App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides at their discretion.
- Play Store: request a refund at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. Google decides at their discretion.
splitt itself does not refund purchases made through the stores, regardless of the store's outcome.
These aren't payments to splitt.
When you settle a split with another splitt user via UPI, splitt doesn't hold the money — it goes directly between your bank and theirs through NPCI's UPI rails. splitt cannot refund, reverse, or otherwise touch a peer-to-peer UPI transfer.
If a UPI transfer went to the wrong person, you sent the wrong amount, or you were tricked into a transfer:
- Contact the recipient and ask them to send it back. (splitt has a one-tap "refund this settlement" flow in the app that just generates a reverse UPI link.)
- Raise a complaint with your bank or UPI app within 3 days.
- Use NPCI's Online Dispute Resolution at npci.org.in.
- If you believe fraud is involved, file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
Please talk to us first.
If you believe you were charged in error, write to billing@splitt.app within 7 days of the charge. We'll investigate and respond within one business day.
Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card network without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending the dispute. We cooperate fully with banks and card networks, but a chargeback does not change this Refund Policy — only the bank's decision on the chargeback itself.
