We're a product-first team. That means we'd rather ship something that genuinely feels good to use than something that merely ticks a feature box. splitt is the result of that approach.
Money between friends is messy. It doesn't have to be.
Everyone knows the routine. Someone covers the bill, a dozen messages fly back and forth, half the group forgets, and weeks later there's a vague sense that things never quite got settled. The amounts are usually small. The friction is not.
We built splitt because splitting a bill in India should feel as natural as paying with UPI — instant, mutual, and done. No spreadsheets, no IOUs, no chasing.
